The WOZ ended the season on a high note, qualifying in the 8th position for the quickest Alcohol Funny Car field in history. Our
qualifying time of 5.647 seconds was our quickest ever. The incremental times on the run were, .962 60ft 2.494 330 ft 3.713
1/8 mile @ 201.28 MPH 4.761 1000 ft 5.647 ¼ mile @ 253.66 MPH. We won our 1rst round defeating Robert Lee and lost to
Shawn Jones in the 2nd round. It?s been a pretty good year for us qualifying at every race we attended and going to one final
round where we were runner up. In National points we ended up in 30th position with only 7 of 10 possible events counting and
10th in Division 7 with 3 of 5 possible races counting towards our points total. Nationally there were 145 cars that competed in
Alcohol Funny Car and 23 that competed at Division 7 races. Next year we hope to complete a full schedule (10 races) and earn a
top 10 finish in 2004. We would like to THANK John Williams of Rancho Framing, without his sponsorship of our team

4:49 PM The sun is behind the grand stands and the temperature is falling fast. This is the final session for the Alcohol Funnycars.
This first pair is in the show but both would like to make the top half. The Woz wanders all over the lane but still records the best ET
of his career. Thompson has problems and can only hope he doesn't get bumped.

This is the quickest field in history and getting tougher by the pass.
