| The Rancho Framing / Camaro Top Alcohol Funny Car had a great weekend going qualifying in the number 3 position with a 5.633 blast down the quarter mile. All of our times except for a 5.722 in qualifying were in the 5.60s, from a 5.62 to a 5.69. We beat Hank Coolidge in the first round with a 5.67 to his red light and 5.71 effort. In the second round against Brian Hough we ran quicker with a 5.62 to his 5.64, but he cut a better light and beat Mark to the finish line by .06 seconds, ending our weekend. We had a good year filled with a lot highs and a couple lows. We were runner up at the Vegas National Event and usually qualified in the top half of the field. Although we didn?t run a full schedule of races we ended up 24th in National Points and 10th in Division 7. Next year we plan to run a full schedule of National and Division races adding Tucson, AZ and the new Fontana, Ca division races to our schedule.
