The Rancho Framing / Direct Transport Top Alcohol Funny Car Camaro had a good outing when the Woz
ran a career best ET 5.597 and Speed 257.19 MPH. That run put us in the #2 qualifying position. Unfortunately
our weekend was cut short when Mark almost crossed the centerline when his car got out of the groove and had to
lift, handing the First round win to Doug Gordon when Mark slowed to a 6.064 @ 179.95 to Doug's 5.755. This
was a new engine combination in the car that we have been working out during the last couple of races and it really
showed a lot of potential this weekend. We would also like to welcome two new associate sponsors that have joined
our team, Bob and Carol McGuire promoting their charity the Foundation Fighting Blindness and Water One in
Suisun, CA.

SONOMA, Calif. - SONOMA - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Alcohol Funny Car:
Left Lane: Shawn Jones Runs 6.118/238.51, Now #6
Right Lane: Mark Woznichak Runs 5.844/248.34, Now #4
Jones shook pretty good in the left lane but managed to drive through it. The Woz didn't have problems with shake
and goes into the #4 spot at the moment. The entry list shows twenty two entries for the Funny Cars.
Notes from round 2 qualifying in Top Alcohol Funny Car:

Best prior run: 5.844/248.34, Was #11
Right Lane: Bret Williamson Runs 5.854/228.15, Now #13

Woznichak just misses the top spot with the nicest looking run of the session. Williamson bumps himself back into the
show.

The Alcohol Dragster session seemed like it took forever due to the Darrell Hitchman problem. He was out ok
and we wish him the best as he has to build another new race car.

qualifying position. Williamson bypasses the 5.7s and goes into the #5 hole.
